New Features

  • Added settings to configure the resolution of the HDMI output. [110]

  • Added Miracast support to i3ALLSYNC. Press Ctrl+K to connect via Windows computers. [111]

Improvements

  • Improved the solution to hide the android taskbar while in i3STUDIO environment. The standard android functions – Back, Home, Overview – are available in the i3STUDIO side menu’s. [131]

  • Changed the design of the landing page when there is no video input signal. [138]

  • Moved the two settings to manage the updates and the configuration of the camera, from Power settings to System settings, which were added in the previous version. [114]

  • Improved the video signal sent to the HDMI output, to better display the rotatable i3SIXTY display on external displays. [139]

  • Improved the way inactivity works while on external video input sources. The device should never fall asleep due to inactivity when using the display as a monitor only. Use the Power settings of the external devices to control sleep settings. [119]

  • Resolved an issue where the video quality/resolution will decrease after screen rotation. [66]

  • Resolved an issue where several applications would prefer to run in an upside-down orientation. [108]

  • Resolved the issue where the auto-rotate widget in Android’s quick settings would have no effect on the rotation. [112]

  • Resolved the issue where the notification sounds could become very loud. [126]

  • Resolved the issue where some devices could not activate a 5 GHz hotspot. [127]

  • Resolved the issue where some external USB camera devices could not provide microphone audio. [129]

  • Resolved the issue where the volume would jump to 100% while navigating through the sound settings in the Settings app. [137]
